It's like Christmas Eve...... Only Worse!!!

Ahhhh........ I can't believe tomorrow is the day we sign the paperwork! I just got done with the final walk through! Matt had to work so he missed out- but everything looked good! Now we just need to get in there and knock some walls down and get to work! Time to make it ours.......almost!

In the Home Stretch

Well, today is Monday, February 27 and we FINALLY have the 'clear to close'. Tomorrow is the final walk through and Wednesday is the closing! Yeah! I can't wait! Pictures of the house to follow SOON!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day! This year Matt and I made each other gifts! I (sort of) made him a crocheted Snoopy and he welded me a heart. (Pics below) The Snoopy does not look as good as I had hoped, but it was my first try so I can't complain! I just know I have to make him a little 'slimmer'. :)

Matt also bought me our first rose bush for the new house!

We will probably go out to Dinner on Saturday or Brunch on Sunday, and do a little 'treasure hunting' for some furniture we can re-finish/re-purpose for the new place! I'm so excited and can't wait!!

Moving Right Along

Well, the home purchase is moving along, slowly but surely! We are into February and that means closing month, hopefully!! Since the inspections are out of the way and there is really nothing we can do but wait Matt's been busy with school and work, and I have been busy crocheting! I have made several projects the past few weeks; including wrist warmers, a cute purse for my three year old niece, and I'm currently working on a purse and a Valentines Day gift for Matt ( hope he doesn't see this)!! New Year, New House :)

Well, to get this started should let you all know Matt and I found a house and we are hopefully going to be closing on February 29! For being the shortest month I have a feeling that February is going to drag on forever this year!!! We have inspections on Tuesday, so hopefully everything goes well with those.

Although the house is a cute little cottage Matt and I plan on doing major changes and renovations to the place! I can't wait to post pictures for all of you to see!

Matt and I are determined to document all of the changes we make to the house!
